Below is the actual process — abbreviated. The full version is in our Journal.
Every minifigure cross-checked against BrickLink, Rebrickable, and the LEGO Color Reference. Print details inspected under 10× loupe; mold stamps verified against documented variants. Suspect lots photographed under UV for fake-print fluorescence.
Mint / Excellent / Good / Fair / Poor — defined publicly, applied conservatively. Joint tightness, print wear, fading, and tooth marks all scored independently. A figure graded Excellent here is what others list as Mint.
Bricks washed in mesh, air-dried flat, never tumbled. Figures bagged in acid-free polyethylene with a printed grade card. Sets re-bagged by build step.
Padded with archival foam, double-boxed for high-value pieces, signature-on-delivery domestic via USPS Priority. International via UPS with declared-value insurance and photo documentation of every step.
14-day full refund, return shipping covered. No restocking fees. No questions. If a piece arrives misgraded, that's on us, not you.
